Meet the Indago UAS – a fully collapsible, custom-made micro-helicopter.
Produced by Lockheed Martin Procerus Technologies, the drone is designed to give the military to gather aerial data from an urban area during a mission, while also being suitable for commercial use.
With a capability to be airborne in two minutes, it takes just a minute to assemble. Weighing 2.3 kg – the majority of which is a battery – it has swappable payload options and a flight time of 45 minutes.
Designed to operate between a package of two switchable cameras – a Fleur Quark infra-red camera, and an electro optic camera with 10x optical zoom capability.
The user operates the aircraft through a wireless hand-held touchscreen controller, with still and video recording capabilities.
