Army Veteran Feels Like 'Luckiest Man Alive' After Help From Alabaré
A Welsh veteran who became a homeless alcoholic says he feels like "the luckiest man alive" after being given the chance to rebuild his life with the help of a forces charity.
Alabaré provides temporary accommodation to British Armed Forces Veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, with 24 Homes for Veterans across England and Wales.
40-year-old David Hiscock developed mental health problems after leaving the Army.
Now he’s been given accommodation and support by the charity in his hometown of Swansea.
