Royal Approval For Forces TV
His Royal Highness The Duke of York has hosted a reception where he praised the Forces Broadcasters BFBS and Forces TV for their continued work in raising the profile of the Armed Forces.
Held at St James’s Palace, he stressed the importance of getting the message out, to support the British military. Prince Andrew said:
"One of the most important things about the Armed Services and to the Armed Services is getting the message out there about what it is that they do."
ITV News' Alistair Stewart said:
"I thought His Royal Highness captured it perfectly tonight. What you (Forces TV) do... so brilliantly is to share with the folk who do that job, the nature of it, the comradery of it.
The Duke of York is Patron of the Services Sound and Vision Corporation (SSVC) charity, which operates Forces TV and the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS).
